It can be about a specific holiday or about winter in general. Then have them illustrate the whole story and share it with you one evening before bed. It may become your favorite tradition during winter break.
Get creative and do things that your kids love to do. Have plenty of supplies on hand so they can jump from one activity to the next without growing bored.
